Really American Releases #ConspiracyTrump

Conspiracy Trump Press Release

Contact Information: Justin Horwitz, Executive Director

Release date:  September 22, 2020

The video highlights Donald Trump’s full support of conspiracy theories, especially those presented by the radicalized hate group, QAnon. The political ad then goes a step further, noting that Trump has personally been the originator of some very dangerous conspiracy theories.

Super PAC Really American has released a new Donald Trump attack ad that focuses squarely on Donald Trump’s continued support of dangerous conspiracy theories. Several of the theories shared by Trump have led to violent acts carried out by radicalized groups of Trump supporters.

Really American highlights Trump’s support of Qanon, including a public endorsement Trump gave to a QAnon supporting candidate running for office.

The video further notes that Donald Trump has gone a step further, spreading his own baseless conspiracy theories about violent acts carried out by armed police officers. In one tweet, after an elderly man was attacked by police, Trump, without any proof, tweeted that the man, who was rushed to a nearby hospital, “could be an Antifa provacateur.”

As the video highlights, Donald Trump has outright refused to disavow radicalized groups on the right, while simultaneously spreading outright lies to his base of more than 63 million Twitter followers.

The video ends with the hashtag #ConspiracyTrump which reached the fifth spot on Twitter’s US trends.
