The newest ad from Super PAC Really American speaks to the recent decision by Donald Trump and Betsy DeVos to send millions of school aged children back to their public school’s. The decision was made in the middle of the worst pandemic in more than 100 years.
Betsy DeVos said before re-opening schools that there is absolutely no data showing that children are at risk from COVID-19. The U.S. Secretary of Education has remained silent in the weeks following in which more than 2,000 children and their teachers have now tested positive for Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the ad highlights that Donald Trump’s own son, Barron, is attending 100% virtual classes at the direction of his private school.
Betsy DeVos and Donald Trump know there is an obvious danger in sending children back to school; they just care more about the economy than the lives of young American citizens.
