Super PAC Really American has debuted a new ad calling attention to Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mehmet Oz’s disturbing ties to foreign dictators. As of Friday, the video has been viewed nearly 200,000 times.
In the video, Really American exposes Mehmet Oz’s tight-knit relationship with Turkish dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his regime.
The video delves into Oz’s time serving in the Turkish military, his refusal to renounce his Turkish citizenship, and an occasion in which Oz spoke at an event hosted by the Turkish-American Steering Committee, which is regarded as Erdogan’s propaganda firm.
The video also mentions that at the event, Oz sat with the organization’s former treasurer, Murat Guzel, who was investigated by the FBI for meddling in American politics.
Erdogan’s bodyguards also hired the organization’s co-chair as their defense attorney after they were arrested for beating American protesters in Washington, DC.
The video ends by calling on Pennsylvania voters to reject Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania’s Republican US Senate primary in 2022.
