The video highlights Donald Trump’s private acknowledgment that COVID-19 is a deadly virus for people of all ages while simultaneously pushing American citizens back into the workplace and children back to school.
The Really American Super PAC has released a new video titled “Trump Doesn’t Care.” In the video, Donald Trump’s own words, recorded by Bob Woodward, highlight the fact that President Trump knew in February that COVID-19 was airborne and presented a danger far worse than the seasonal flu for both adults and children.
The video then highlights Donald Trump’s acknowledgment to Woodward that he planned to downplay the dangers of the virus by outright lying to the American people.
Since that interview, Trump has lived up to his deadly promise by pushing children back to school and urging businesses to end furloughs for their employees. The Really American video highlights Trump’s attempts to spin the pandemic’s deadly results by cherrypicking data and presenting outright lies to the American public.
Donald Trump said it wasn’t just old people but “young people too, plenty of young people” who were at risk. Despite that recorded comment, the President has pushed school-aged children back into their public institutions.
